Here for sale is 1966 Fender Duo-Sonic II in Natural with Original Case 6.8lbs. A fantastic vintage piece from Fender’s golden era with a fresh look thanks to a tasteful natural refinish. This short-scale classic delivers all the charm, playability, and unmistakable tone that has made these guitars increasingly popular with players and collectors alike. Originally introduced as a student model, the Duo-Sonic II has earned a reputation far beyond that label. Its lightweight offset body and 24 scale make it incredibly comfortable to play, while the dual single-coil pickups provide bright, punchy tones with plenty of clarity and character. This example has been refinished in natural, showing off the grain and giving it a unique, stripped-down aesthetic. The guitar features Alder body with visible grain, Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a fuller C profile, 24 short scale – easy and fun to play, Dual original-style single-coil pickups, and 3-way switching for each pickup. It's in very good vintage condition. The refinish is clean, with light wear from use. Some minor dings and surface marks are present, as expected for its age. Hardware shows typical aging. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly, and it plays great with low, comfortable action. A cool, vibey vintage Fender that’s perfect for studio work, live playing, or adding something different to your collection. The original hard case is included.
