Here for sale we have a Gretsch G5021E Penguin Parlor electro-acoustic guitar in Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2022, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Laminated Maple back & sides, Maple neck & 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. A Synthetic Bone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Gold sealed tuning machines. A Fishman undersaddle piezo pickup is installed, and is wired to a Fishman Isys III on-board preamp with controls for master volume, three-band EQ & a tuner. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'U' shape profile offering a smooth & responsive playing experience across the register. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25" scale, whilst the small stature of the parlor body is supremely comfortable in the arms. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and delivers a smooth & durable playing surface to explore. 

The acoustic voice of the Gretsch G5021E Penguin is bright & snappy thanks to it's Spruce/Maple construction. The parlor body size is well known for it's balance, and with an understated yet accurate bass, this example is no exception, delivering quite an even response across the frequency range. The Solid Spruce top projects well, and delivers an impressive amount of volume for such a small instrument. The on-board Fishman electronics faithfully convey the acoustic voice of the instrument, adding the versatility required for the stage or studio.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light & close scrutiny, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching to the rear of the neck is visible under direct light & close scrutiny, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Body: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) included.

Hardware: Excellent condition with light tarnishing of the tuning machines. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
