Here for sale we have a Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II Jazz Bass in Forest Blue finish. Made in Japan in 2024, this bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, Vintage-style machine heads, and Chrome hardware. The pickups installed are a set of Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass pickups that are wired to two volume controls, and a master tone control. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The 1.5" nut width is nice and traditional, offering ample string spacing for accurate fretting. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius offers a tactile, durable and practical playing surface. 

Equipped in this bass are a pair of Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass pickups, offering the classic and punchy tone which the Jazz bass is revered for, delivering classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without over complicating things or getting in the way of the playing experience. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to blend the pickups as desired and achieve your perfect tone with ease.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. A very small indentation is apparent to the side face at the treble side of the lower bout that has marked but not removed any of the finish.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition. Very light scratching is apparent to the pickguard and control plate.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
