Jackson X Series Surfcaster 2025 Satin Black Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Jackson X Series Surfcaster in Satin Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2025, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Poplar body, Maple neck and 24 fret Laurel fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Jackson hardtail string-through-body bridge & upgrade Gotoh Magnum-Lock tuning machines. A pair of passive Jackson High-Output humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume & master tone controls. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile which feels very appropriate for a Jackson - slim & articulate without being too thin or characterless. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the sculpted neck heel & rear edges of the cutaways enhances access to the upper frets. The Laurel of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with it's 12"-16" compound radius and jumbo frets is practical for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. 

Amplified, the pair of passive Jackson High-Output humbucking pickups deliver thick and full-bodied tones, perfect for the guitarist seeking a saturated & powerful sound. The neck pickup is round, and works well for melodic lead lines & solos. The bridge pickup is of course brighter and hotter, and pushes your amp into a saturated distortion tone with ease, whilst cutting through the mix to put your rhythm playing front and centre. The controls are kept simple whilst offering comprehensive control of your sound.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light and is most prominent near the low E tuning machine..

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light. The satin finish has worn to a light gloss in high contact areas such as the forearm contour & treble side waist. The pickguard shows light scratching consistent with playwear. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. The original tuners have been replaced with a set of Gotoh locking ones. The original parts are not included. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
