ARIA Pro II Japan Les Paul Custom LC-500, made in Japan at Matsumoku. Cherry Sunburst finish. For a bit of history, ARIA began its partnership with Matsumoku in 1964, and it's worth noting that 'ARIA' was called 'ARAI' until 1966, then ARIA PRO II from 1975 onwards. This particular guitar was made in the late 1970s and was purchased by its previous Japanese owner in 1979.
Good overall condition, with some signs of wear, cracks, etc., on the binding and body. Vintage look, frets in good condition: 7/10 (see photos for details).
Truly excellent as played today: perfect playability, slim 60s neck. Immediate comfort. High-quality rosewood fretboard.
The tones are breathtaking, harmonious, and powerful, improving with age. The original PAF pickups selected by DiMarzio USA and Aria are incredible.
Perfect guitar for pop, rock, and hard rock. It rivals some much more expensive Gibsons…
