We’re pleased to offer this JMP Super Bass 1992 head from 1971, built during the desirable hand-wired tag-board era.
Chassis: Original output transformer, original choke, replacement TAD laydown power transformer, original mustard caps. The original Bulgin power supply is still present and the head will come with a power cable.
It’s just had a full check-over by Dave at Prestige Amp Servicing — an ex-Marshall factory technician — with several service parts replaced, listed below.
- V2 & V3 Preamps replaced ECC83
- V1 & Phase Inverter supply resistors x 4
- PAT Tested
- Bias Circuit smoothing caps 10uf, 100v
- 4 x new Marshall Branded EL34's
Pre Amp Valves: PM & RUBY ECC83
Power Valves: Marshall EL34
Cosmetic: Original head shell and hardware.
The output (ohms) and mains voltage selectors have been updated to the more modern RS style.
This listing is for the head but we also have a selection of Marshall cabs available separately.
Mains voltage selector - 110v, 120v & 240v - so can be used worldwide.
