Unknown Brand & Model Gold Covered Humbucker Set Pair - 1990's - 2010's - 8.22K & 8.37K ohm

Used pair of unknown brand and unknown model gold covered humbuckers - possibly Made in Korea MIK.

I bought these pickups from Japan, not in a guitar, so I don't know what brand or guitar they came from.

The pickup rings are curved on the bottom, so these likely came from a Les Paul Custom type model, or something equivalent.

They look similar to 1990's to 2010's humbuckers made in Korea, based on the brass baseplates, the shape of the legs, and the lead thickness and colour.

These are made with the bobbins glued/epoxied into the covers - there are no screws holding the bobbins in place. I remove the baseplate from one to see that it uses a ceramic magnet.

The lead wires were cut incredibly short - about an inch. Enough that you could solder a new wire to it. the red lead wire is the neck pickup, and the blue lead wire is the bridge pickup.

Note: if you'd like me to add extensions to the lead wires, let me know, and I'll gladly do that for you.

The DC resistance measures 8.22K ohms for the neck pickup and 8.37K ohms for the bridge pickup.

The pole spacing is about 47mm for the neck pickup, and about 51mm for the bridge pickup.

The pickups are in good player grade shape, although there's typical wear and corrosion on the tops of the covers - it has a nice natural patina. They definitely don't look new, and have been used/played, but it will look natural in an older model guitar or played guitar.

Comes with the pictured black pickup wings, which are curved on the bottom, springs and screws/
