A killer Epiphone Blackstone in a very rare ivory finish. The war time Epiphones often had changes in specs due to wartime restrictions so they may differ from normal specs.
the top is carved solid wood, i'm not sure if its Spruce, some of these are listed as poplar for this period, whatever it is it sounds fantastic. The back and sides are maple, again often listed as laminate - however the grain inside does match the grain on the back so who knows! There is one repaired crack on the top shown in the photos and it comes with a none original hard case. Really well set up with nice low action all the way down the neck.
Serial number is 50040 The NY made Epis from this period give the gibsons a run for their money.
