The Superlux CMH8D is a dual-pattern large-diaphragm tube condenser.

As part of the CMH8 series, it uses a one-inch, 3 micron true condenser capsule and identical exterior metalwork. The circuitry uses a hard-wired (not socketed) Nuvistor-type tube, with a transformer-coupled output.

A two-position polar pattern switch provides Cardioid or Omnidirectional patterns. Two other switches independently enable a high-pass filter (200Hz) or -10dB attenuation pad.
