A rare Limited Edition 62’ custom shop Stratocaster.

This is from a small run of Custom Shop Strats made around 2010 that came with Brazilian rosewood fretboards. This was just before the restrictions on Brazilian rosewood came into place.

The run was also known for its incredibly authentic feeling builds. I must say this one feels and sounds old and played in more than most of the custom shops I’ve had my hands on.

The neck has a classic 60s profile, starting at a comfy 0.82’ at first fret, getting chunkier towards the 12th fret. It has a 10’ Radius which strikes a nice balance between vintage and modern feel.

Pickups are 69’ custom shop pickups and sound killer.
The frets are perhaps 6150, I’m not exactly sure. Very easy and comfortable to play. Plenty of life left in the frets.

The guitar is set up very nicely, playing with low action and a full classic sound.

All in all it’s a fantastic instrument, and a great example of what the custom shop can do. I’ve own a bunch of custom shops and although they are usually always a great instrument they do not always feel like the old ones do, and this one does.

Comes with white tolex hardcase, shop traveler and delivery labels which show it’s from the real limited edition run.

Collection from east/central much preferred. Postage is possible but would take me some time to locate a box and pack properly, needing to work this around current work schedules etc. Therefore please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
