The Gretsch Filter'Tron Pickup comes in their iconic housing with I shaped opening, 12 adjustable pole pieces and patent number stamp. It is a very early example of a humbucker pickup and gets its name from filtering out the hum associated with single coil pickups. The sound of Filtertron pickups is characterised by mixing the warmth of PAF style humbuckers with the clarity of single coil pickups (with additional output and sustain), the narrower coils add a uniqueness to the sound that PAF style humbuckers can't quite match. Please note this is the pickup only, mounting screws are not included.

Please note the nickel bridge pickup photo currently shows a neck pickup, the bridge pickup you will receive will not have the wider baseplate shown in the photo.
