The details about this preorder:

Each Banjocaster in this listing is “made to order.” That means that, while we have many of the parts on hand, other parts we use are brought in after we determine what your choice of banjocaster will require (such as color, body type, and hardware). It is simply not feasible for us to keep every possible variation in stock and in sufficient quantity at all times. So, we source some of the parts as needed, thus the lead time that is a part of this listing.

These instruments are a conversion. A conversion is an instrument we create by using parts from other instruments. These are NOT made from raw materials, that is the main reason that they can be offered at this price point. 

We strongly encourage you to contact us prior to ordering due to the fluctuating inventories of the vendors from whom we source the parts. When you contact us, we can check on the current availability of colors and styles you are interested in, before you make your purchase. We will then provide photos to you of what is currently available, so you can decide if you want to proceed with the order.

The photos provided in this listing are intended for reference so you can visualize what your banjocaster will look like, but bear in mind that the banjocaster you eventually order may vary slightly in appearance from the photos in this listing. While the body shape is consistent among the vendors we use, the most common variation we encounter is the shape and color of the pick guard. Some of the bodies will have binding, others will not. Another less common variation is the pickup arrangement (sometimes a humbucker is installed instead of a single coil pickup) We attempt to show those possible variations in the photos, but there may be other variations that we have yet to encounter. 

Again, we will provide photos of what is currently available as we are communicating with you.

The necks we prefer to use at this price point are equipped with standard geared tuning pegs, not planetary tuning pegs nor friction tuners.

Some photos may show a banjocaster equipped with planetary tuning pegs or friction tuning pegs, but that is because the instrument was upgraded by the customer who ordered it. 

Planetary tuning pegs OR friction tuning pegs can be added at an additional cost. Again, we encourage you to contact us as we do offer upgrade options at other price points.

Black, Blue burst, Natural, Sunburst, Dark Green, Sea Foam Green, Cream White.                   At times other colors may be available that are not listed here nor in the photos. Again, vendor inventory fluctuates, please contact us before ordering.
