Dax&Co. Heavy Aged Gibson Les Paul Classic 2014 Goldtop Relic Conversion!

Just out of the Dax&Co. Custom Shop is this drop-dead gorgeous, genuine 2014 USA Gibson Les Paul Classic goldtop that has been completely transformed to look like a well loved, vintage roadworn guitar.



A TON of work has gone into this transformation. Every single detail down to the smallest screw was disassembled and meticulously aged by hand to look the part.



The finish on the top has been stripped, the top carve deepened around the edge, then refinished in gold nitro lacquer...keeping it thin for ultimate tone. This has been fully aged with tons of lacquer checking, yellowing, browning, and greening of the gold, dents,dings,scratches,wear,buckle rash etc...



YOU WILL LOVE THIS NECK! The edges of the fretboard have been hand rolled and the finish removed from the back for ULTRA fast playing with a worn-in, super smooth vintage feel! 

The binding and plastics have been "yellowed" just as they do from age.



The pickups are not original and are marked '57 PAF on the bottom in marker and are a clone of the Classic 57's, with aged raw nickel covers wax potted, maple spacers, push back braided cloth wire. The neck pickup is nice and warm and the bridge cuts through with great clarity with a slight edge just as you'd want from a vintage style PAF.

ABR-1 bridge, aged gold speed knobs, tuners changed to vintage style Gotoh with small ferrules on the headstock, vintage style brown cavity covers...



Weighs in right at 9.5 lbs.



This comes with a used black tolex Gibson hardshell case, case candy, and a signed Dax&Co. COA!
