This quality Pre-Owned Viscount KeyB Duo Mk1 (often referred to simply as the KeyB Duo) was a landmark “clonewheel” organ that combined Viscount’s manufacturing expertise with Elvio Previati’s (KeyB) acclaimed sound modeling technology.

Released before the current “Legend” series, the Mk1 is still highly regarded for its warm, organic tone that many purists argue captures the “B3 soul” better than modern, more clinical digital organs.

Core Specifications & Features

• Keyboard: Two 61-note “Waterfall” manuals, specifically designed to mimic the tactile feel of a vintage Hammond.
• Sound Engine: Original KeyB Tonewheel Modeling. Unlike many organs of its era that used sampling, the Duo used physical modeling to recreate the nuances of the 91 tonewheels, including crosstalk and leakage.

Drawbars: Two full sets of 9 drawbars for the upper manual and two for the lower manual, plus 2 pedal drawbars—totaling 38 drawbars.
