We build boutique guitar pickups the way they should be built: by hand, to spec, and measured before they ship.
Every RDSL pickup is wound in our Illinois lab and tested for DCR, inductance, and resonant peak. You get a spec card with your set. No guessing, no batch averaging — your pickups, your numbers.

The Workbench — We also rotate hand-selected used gear: guitars, pedals, pro audio, and DJ equipment from our personal collection and R&D rotation. Vetted, accurately described, ready to work.

Shipping Policy
All RDSL pickups are built to order. Please allow 5–7 business days for your set to be wound, measured, and prepared for shipment before it ships.
Orders ship via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Free shipping on all pickup sets — domestic USA, all 50 states.
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Estimated transit time after shipment is 2–3 business days.
If your order arrives damaged in transit, contact us at [email protected] within 3 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item. We will work with you to resolve it promptly.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
All RDSL pickups are built to order. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for new items, provided the pickup is in as-new condition. Pickups may be temporarily installed to test tone but must not be altered or damaged.
Returns are void if the pickup shows: excessive lead wire trimming, stripped mounting screw threads, scratches on bobbins or covers, or the presence of steel wool, metal shavings, or debris on the magnets.
A 10% restocking fee applies to all buyer-preference returns. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
To initiate a return: Email [email protected] with clear photos or video of the pickup's current condition before an RMA number will be issued. This protects both parties and ensures your return is processed without dispute. Returns shipped without an approved RMA will not be accepted.
Defective or incorrect items: If your pickup arrives defective or we shipped the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. RDSL will cover all return shipping, waive the restocking fee, and issue a full refund or direct replacement. Photos of the defect are still required to open the claim — this gets your issue resolved faster.
Custom one-off commissions and pre-wired harnesses are non-returnable.
