Welcome to my vintage guitar shop. I'm a Brighton, U.K based musician of over 25 years and classical guitar specialist with over 15 years guitar evaluation and trading experience and have worked as a technician & refurbished 500+ classical guitars.

I'm proficient in classical guitar set-up and refurbishment; including saddle and nut shaping by hand. I spend a lot of time making sure any guitar that comes my way is fully optimised and playing to full potential.

I have an eye for rare and high quality classical and vintage acoustic guitars and have developed specialist knowledge in this area.

I'm a big fan of Japanese classical guitars and have evaluated 100s of obscure and lesser known brands from 1960s-1980s.

I tend to look out makers that go under most peoples radar. Japanese , German, Nordic & Eastern Bloc guitars interest me more than the Spanish template.

A lot of junk came out of Spain in the 60s-80s so you'll find a thrown together badly made solid top will be no match for a beautifully made veneer method guitar from a good factory in Japan.

I've sold on eBay for 15 years with over 3000 transactions with, 100% positive feedback. I moved over to Reverb 5 years ago as they are a better platform and nicer people to deal with.

It's important to make sure that you are buying a guitar that suits you.
