Our bricks and mortar shop, Ellis Antiques, located in historic Collingswood, NJ, has been in operation since 1992. We have had a strong Internet presence since 1998, and have been selling online since then on various websites, chiefly eBay, Reverb & Etsy. Due to the owner's musical background as a performing musician as a young teenager through his early adult years, as well as a collector to this day, Ellis has been buying and selling many types of musical instruments & assorted electronic gear since the age of 14. Ace was our beloved 11+ year old red and white beagle & namesake of our online Reverb.com presence. If ever in Collingswood, NJ, please stop into the shop & meet our friendly staff in person.
We also support the Arts & Cultural community and host top notch musical entertainment in front of our shop on the historic sidewalks of C-wood, usually on the 2nd Saturday of any given month between May and November.
So, if you see an event advertised on Social Media platforms, please do come on out for a guaranteed awesome sonic and visual experience. These events will kick your endorphins into ultra high gear!

Give a listen to the attached video demo by our friend & accomplished multi instrumentalist David Kelly, noodling out on a recent listing of ours, played straight through a late 1960s Fender Princeton Reverb Silver Face tube amplifier without any additional external mic, shot & recorded solely through an iPhone 6 Plus . When we describe any of our items, we try our best to err on the side of caution. In other words, we will purposefully understate the specific condition of an item, even though that item might actually be in better shape than we described. Because condition is basically a personal opinion more than anything else, we feel that it is better to genuinely assess an item in conservative parameters. For example, a potential customer receives their purchase anticipating an item that we described as being in "good" condition, when in actuality it is closer to being in "very good" or even "excellent" shape. We pack professionally and carefully, so that you receive your item(s) in exactly the same condition that it was in prior to being packaged.
