About AceSage Guitar Restoration

We restore guitars with stories—and send them back out to make more.

AceSage Guitar Restoration specializes in vintage, unusual and overlooked instruments: guitars with history, character and enough life left in them to deserve another chance.

Every guitar we sell goes across the bench. We evaluate the frets, neck, nut, action, intonation, electronics and hardware, then do whatever work the instrument actually needs. That can mean a straightforward setup—or a much deeper restoration. Our goal isn't to make an old guitar look new or erase its history. It's to make it play the way it deserves to play.

Our guitars leave the bench properly set up, freshly strung, cleaned and ready to play. We favor StringJoy strings and low, comfortable action where the instrument allows it. Repairs, modifications, replaced parts and significant cosmetic issues are disclosed honestly and photographed.

We also restore customer instruments. If you have an old, unusual or simply important guitar that deserves another chance, message us through Reverb to talk about the project.

Everything we ship is carefully packed in a purpose-fit box and fully insured. And if you're not satisfied with a guitar you buy from us, we'll take it back—see our Reverb return policy for details.

These aren't wall hangers. They're stories worth playing.
