The Wren and Cuff Your Face Smooth Silicon 70's Fuzz brings the balanced sound of a certain iconic red pedal and adds a few new tweaks to make the sound even better. Starting off with a pair of hand-matched BC108 transistors, supremely quiet metal film transistors, and smoothing capacitors for taming those pesky high spikes, all the pieces are in place to capture throwback fuzzy tone. Not content to stop there, the Smooth Silicon employs a reverse-log fuzz potentiometer for finely sculpting the fuzz in your signal and a modification for higher output to give you complete control over vintage tone.
