The Recording King RD-T16 Torrefied Series Dreadnought acoustic guitar takes advantage of a revolutionary process of "cooking" the wood for a stunningly balanced tone that's in line with well-loved vintage instruments. The Adirondack spruce on the face of the RD-T16 is precisely cured to achieve a dried top, producing a sound that'll have aficionados looking around the room for the old-world wood. This guitar is an unbeatable option for the singer-songwriter looking for that coveted dreadnought tone on a shoestring budget.

  • Extremely surprised!

I was not expecting much with this guitar, only getting it for a “couch guitar”, but I have to say it sounds great. I’ve played d-18s that sound worse then this. It does seem a little stiff, but it is band new and will hopefully open up with some time and playing.

Ok backup guitar, or for beginner. Tone is a.little dead on the lower end. Great for around the fire pit.
