A classic and well-known snare drum, the Ludwig Acrolite Snare Drum has been a bright and crispy aluminum-shelled favorite for years! Originally introduced in 1963 as a student drum, the Ludwig Acrolite quickly became the choice of pro players in need of dry, cracking snare tone.
The Ludwig LM404C10 Acrolite Classic 5" x 14" Snare Drum is a reissue of the famous 1963 student snare drum. Its seamless, beaded, brushed-aluminum shell produces penetrating, dry snare tone, and is augmented with 10 twin lugs, a P88 strainer, and blue/olive badge. Made in Monroe, NC. USA.
