About this listing
This is a Fender American Stratocaster MN BLK 2002.Here we are offering a 2002 American Stratocaster model with a maple fretboard and black finish, which weighs 3.63kg.For some reason, the name changed from "American Standard" to just "American" around this time, but the specifications and internals remained basically the same, featuring an alder body, maple neck and 22-fret maple fretboard—the standard wood materials—and of course, a 4-bolt neck joint. Other features include a 9.5R radius, medium jumbo frets, and a 2-bolt bridge for easy tremolo arm operation. Controls are Volume, Tone (front), Tone (center & rear), and a 5-way pickup selector. It's equipped with three "American Standard Single-Coil Strat" pickups, which appear to be original. The other electronics are also likely original. We have cleaned the potentiometers here. The American Standard is a super long-selling model, and while many models, like the Eric Clapton model, use TBX tone, this one has a standard tone configuration. It is full of charm. The combination of black color, like the one Clapton used, and a maple fretboard is also a classic. More than 20 years have passed since its manufacture, but it gives the impression of using high-quality wood even compared to current models. It is a good guitar and it is easy to see why it is still loved by players today! The frets have been leveled in our shop, so the playing condition is also great!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Accessories] Fender hard case, tremolo arm[Appearance/Condition] There are signs of use such as minor scratches, tarnishing of parts, and small dents on the side horn of the body.
