About this listing
Amazing condition vintage stereo sampler, the classic Emu Emax II. This one is tricked out with modern updates... a gorgeous green OLED replacement display, SCSI internal hard drives (I think 2 1gb but it's partitioned into 4 drives of 500mb each + floppy emulator), and Gotek USB floppy drive emulator that has replaced the original floppy drive. It has the stock 2mb ram, expandable to 8mb.Hundreds of great sounds including the classics the emulator line is known for, get your shakuhachi on! Also comes with a 120gb USB stick stuffed with about 5gb of sounds (nearly 3000 files, some sounds span more than one file, the Gotek drive handles all this by prompting you to load each one needed). Suffice to say, you won't need to go find the classic sample presets, they are probably here, whether on the USB stick you plug directly into the Gotek floppy emulator or already on the hard drives. Everything works great and looks great, a couple surface scuffs I tried to capture in pics one under pitch wheel and a skinny one above the high Ab key, future proofed also, a true studio workhorse.
