Video: Seymour Duncan La Super Rica Fuzz Demo

Packed into a dark-themed chassis adorned with two cacti is Seymour Duncan's newest fuzz circuit, La Super Rica Fuzz. As its name betrays, this silicon-based stompbox promises "super rich" fuzz inspired by the gain-heavy circuits of the '60s and '70s while containing modern-day improvements like the support of a standard 9-volt connection, true bypass, and more overall pedal volume.

But this pedal's main promise from the engineers at Seymour Duncan is that it won't get lost in a muddied mix. La Super Rica features parametric EQ controls that allow players to adjust and sculpt its midrange frequencies, as well as a three-way bass cut switch to help tame the low-end.

Check out the video above to hear Andy test La Super Rica's promise and to see what sorts of sounds he's able to coax from this new fuzz box.
