Gretsch Unveils New Models, Updates Favorites| NAMM 2020

Now that NAMM 2020 is well underway out in Anaheim, the tsunami of new gear announcements and unveilings is coming at us from all directions. Here, we're checking out some of the line updates and cool new guitar releases coming from Gretsch this year.

A lot of Grestch's existing lines are getting minor updates for 2020—for example, the G6659T Players Edition Broadkaster Jr. Center Block line within the Professional Series is being updated with a slightly smaller 14-inch single cutaway body. But many fan favorites are returning in their familiar form.

Gretsch G5410T Electromatic 'Rat Rod' Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby in Matte

Gretsch will also have some new axes on offer, like the G5410T Electromatic "Rat Rod" Hollowbody Single-cut with Bigsby. This guitar will be a slightly thinner version of the G5410, with a 2.25-inch body with an arched maple top/back and maple sides and sound post bracing. It also features very stylish Filter'Tron pickups with red pickup inserts.

Gretsch is also offering a new G5260T Electromatic Jet Baritone with a Bigsby and a G5260 Electromatic Jet Baritone with a V-Stoptail, both featuring solid mahogany bodies with bolt-on maple necks. The Bigsby version is available in either black with a silver pickguard or the reverse, while the V-Stoptail version will be available in Dark Cherry Metallic or Jade Grey Metallic with a silver pickguard or London Grey with a black pickguard.

Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club in Imperial Stain

Finally, Grestch is also offering a new G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club model that'll be available in Golddust, Gunmetal, Imperial Stain, or Vintage White. It features dual Broad'Tron pickups, a single-cut nato body and bolt-on nato neck.
