Ashdown is making an addition to its Classic Tube Magnifier (CTM) range this year, with the release of the CTM-30 Little Stubby bass amp. Named for its size, Little Stubby is only 15.7 inches wide, 8.6 inches deep, and just over 3 inches tall, making it one of the most compact and portable all-tube bass amp heads on the market.

The CTM-30 features a new valve preamp with ECC81, ECC82, and ECC83 preamp tubes, a upgraded 30-watt EL84 driven power section, and a single instrument input with a hi- and low-input selector switch for use with both active and passive basses.
It also packs a balanced DI output, which is super convenient for both large live shows and recording, and a few send and return sockets on the front panel for adding extra pedals and multi-effects. With its two quarter-inch jack sockets allow players to pair the head with a range of complementary Ashdown speaker cabinets at 4- or 8-ohms.
