About this listing
Super-rare 1994 'The Everly' 100th Anniversary edition finished in black. Approximately 100 were made of this limited edition guitar and it is a reissue of the Everly Brothers’ famous J-180 acoustic compact jumbo which was originally used from the early 1960s.It is exceptional condition (not far from mint) and will appeal to both collectors and players alike. It is ageing beautifully and if you scrutinise closely and bounce light onto the surface you can find some nitro lacquer checking, as you'd expect for age. This Centennial year guitar had premium appointment, including mother of pearl star inlays, the double pickguard and a moustache bridge. It has a Solid Sitka Spruce top with a solid Maple back and sides, multi-ply binding, and hand-scalloped X-bracing. Unlike modern iterations the Mahogany neck has a fairly chunky vintage style soft V profile which fills the hand perfectly, a Rosewood fingerboard, a Nut width of approx 1.73" (43.8 mm), a bound headstock with Gibson inlay and star motif, a Rosewood moustache bridge with star inlays and gold tuners. This collectible guitar comes with its original Gibson Montana case to keep your investment protected.About Us:Jordan Guitars is one of the UK’s top independent preowned guitar shops, with a faultless reputation of over 1800 all-5-star reviews across all of our selling platforms.
