Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar in Walnut finish. Made in Mexico in 2009, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Strat Strings-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, Fender Vintage "F" Stamped tuners, and a set of Fender Wide-Range Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Maple neck plays very well, with a 'C' profile with some flattening to the back making it easy to grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player. The Wide-Range humbuckers sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The controls feel responsive, offering a wide range of sounds. The front face demonstrates light scratching and indentations towards the tip, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Light scuffing is apparent to the tip edges.Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation in line with the 6th fret. The fingerboard demonstrates small indentations at the 3rd fret. These markings cannot be felt beneath the strings or by the hand in playing position.Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and scuffing to the finish. The front face edges demonstrate light indentations from the bass to treble side waist, around the lower bout. The rear face demonstrates scuffing to the treble side edge and mild-moderate scratching at the centre, consistent with buckle rash. The sides demonstrate notable scuff marks to the tip of the cutaway, near the jack socket and near where the forearm rests in playing position.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early-mid register, from frets 1-12. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) not included.Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition.
