Enzo Guido (international acclaimed luthier by guitarists such as Carlos Bonell, Andrea Vettoretti, Filomena Moretti, Luis Quintero, Marco Salcito and Peo Alfonsi) built this guitar named Juliette in 2012 and, since then, it has accompanied me through my journey as a classical guitarist.
Apart for some scratches and a couple of marks (I tried to make them visible in the photos), the guitar is in very good condition and ready to be played.
I'm selling this guitar because I'm switching to a 10-string instrument. But it has been played regularly and throughly since Enzo built it, and you can expect an opened and mature sound.
I have a recording of the guitar but can't put the link in the ad. Please ask it in PM. (recorded with a Zoom H5)
Please do keep in mind the guitar currently has Aquila Sugar strings and the trebles have an intonation problem. I will change them soon and provide a link to a second recording.
Top : Bearclaws Val di Fiemme Spruce
Back and Sides : Palo Escrito
Fingerboard : Ebony, raised fingerboard
Neck : Cedrella Odorata
Diapason : 650 mm
Action : 2,7 / 3,7 mm (very confortable)
Bracing : Lattice with carbon
Mechanics : Der Jung (1:17 ratio)
Finish : Shellac (top and neck) and satine polyurethane (back and sides)
Strings : Aquila Sugar (but trebles need to be replaced, since they have intonation issues).
This is really versatile instrument with which you will be able to perform solo and chamber music without any amplification.
Depending on the strings you choose, you can get a round warm sound rich in overtones (generally with nylon strings), or a much brighter and brilliant one (with carbon strings, but exceptions do exist!).
Contrarily to many lattice braced guitar, its sound is well defined and has a good fundemental.
Dynamics range is impressive and this guitar give a very nice palette of tones.
This guitar is esthetically very well refined and beautiful.
The price can be slightly negotiated, especially for helping reducing shipping cost a little bit, but please do keep in mind that Enzo Guido's last guitars were sold at 9000$ by sellers like Savage:
Music Store hard black case is included and offered.
Feel free to write me for any questions, more photos or to ask for a recording, I'll be happy to answer!
