Up for sale, a Maruszczyk Instruments Jake 5 string electric bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Made in Poland, Maruszczyk Instruments have carved out a niche in the modern boutique bass world by delivering incredible quality and tone at a price within a player's grasp. For thick old school thump or punchy growl, the Jake model delivers the goods via a Delano P-style neck pickup and a bridge humbucker with a tonal profile in the vein of Music Man. The bass features an ash body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard for a classic tonewood combination that feels right at home in a variety of genres. The instrument weighs in at 9lbs and is strung with fresh roundwound strings.

The slender C shaped neck profile has a smooth satin finish, and the jumbo fretwire shows virtually no wear. Adhering to specs that will feel familiar to any Fender fan, the Jake bass has a full 34" scale and 1 3/4" wide nut. The control layout consists of dual volume controls for each pickup along with a master tone. The instrument is cosmetically near mint with a satin sunburst finish that highlights the prominent grain in the ash.
