In celebration of Spaceman’s 15th anniversary, we revisit the second-ever Spaceman fuzz pedal design, with the Spacerocket II.

The Spacerocket II is an otherworldy fuzz. A variety of unique and inspiring tones live within its minimalist control layout, from traditional octave-fuzz effects to thick layered waves of fuzz. A three-position toggle switch simultaneously adjusts compression, gain and bass for three launching-off points on your sonic adventure.

The signature voice of the Spacerocket is a fat, compressed fuzz, with notes that uniquely sustain into an octave as you draw them out. Once you get the hang of it, it's an addicting effect that is a lot of fun to play. You may be left wondering if it is you who is playing the pedal, or if the pedal is playing you...

As a sequel to the original Spacerocket released in 2011, we've added some upgrades to the circuit, including: an average noise-floor reduction of 15db; a more pronounced octave effect in the center switch position; and subtle refinements to the tone structure (tighter lows, smoother highs). All of this without compromising the beautiful strangeness of the original.

“This is not your grandpa's octave-fuzz. It's a strange fuzz with a certain wild and interactive character to it that, once understood, allows you to create unique sonic textures that I personally haven't heard in another pedal. I'm excited for this update and re-introducing it to all the sonic adventurers out there.”
-Zak Martin, Spaceman founder

For this initial batch, we’re offering three signed and numbered colors of the Spacerocket II: 20 in Blue, 50 in Black and 100 in White, as an open edition format. While this batch is limited in quantity, the colors are not strictly limited to this initial quantity.
