Takamine has existed since 1962, a very renowned professional brand.
The violin making is largely up to par in this price range, and above all the exceptional quality of their active preamp have made them famous and sought after.
In the 90s-2000s, the most famous and widespread model made in Japan was the Takamine TAN10-C, Dreadnought format, it cost more than €1100 at the time.
The Takamine PT-106 Auditorium is a rare model in Europe, not exported.
Designed exclusively for the Japanese market. The professional quality Takamine parametric Grah-ex preamp is excellent, wide sound palette.
