Up for sale is a rare 1986 Mesa/Boogie Mark III Purple Stripe, featuring Simul‑Class power and housed in a custom DaRibeira hardwood headshell. A visually stunning and highly collectible piece with the classic Mark‑series versatility.
I purchased it earlier this year on Reverb, but despite the incredible tones this Mark III can deliver, I always end up playing my other amps. So it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
The mounting of the reverb tank isn’t optimal, but works. The screws and piece of wood used aren’t the strongest. Reverb works though.
This amp received a full professional service in 2023 and is in excellent technical condition. No issues (apart from the reverb tank mounting), no noise, no surprises — ready for studio or stage.
