This second-generation Yamaha Manu Katché signature snare drum features a distinct 14" x 5.5" seamless brass shell finished in striking black nickel. Highly prized for its balance and projection, this discontinued instrument is widely celebrated as Yamaha's counterpart to classic vintage metal snares !!!
This is a drum I absolutely HATE to let go !!! It is (in one word) Stunning, in appearance as well as sound !! This classic 5.5 inch deep snare has a cut and a pop like I‘ve never heard (Due to the shell)… This drum is Very Good (There is a small repairable scratch by the badge and tiny (hard to see other Buff-able scratches) !
This Manu Katche model comes with an original magazine ad for this snare !!!
Also, this drum is number 0024 !!! Very low serial number !!! This drum is hard to find (go ahead and try) Features a high gloss piano black and Yamaha Die Cast hoops and the super smooth, dual adjustable strainer throw and butt !!! Anyway, I am selling off my beautiful collection of “Yamaha-Made In Japan” snares (all Rare, two signatures) Ask me about my other drums !!!
