The modern Telefunken U47 — the reissue engineers actually reach for — complete, and from a single smoke-free professional studio.
The U47 is the microphone behind more legendary vocal records than arguably any mic ever made, and Telefunken's current reissue nails the character that made it famous: that smooth, present midrange and effortless top end that sits a lead vocal in the mix with no fighting. This is the Nickel finish, purchased new about two years ago and used gently in a controlled studio environment. Single owner, smoke-free.
Condition: Graded Excellent, honestly. Functionally flawless — it performs like new. Cosmetically it shows light wear on the body: a few small spots/marks that are hard to catch in photos and don't affect use. Nothing structural, no dents, no issues. Maintained with care and stored in its case between sessions. I'd rather call this out up front than have it be a surprise.
