Vintage 1959 1960 Vox AC10 TV Front 1x10 Guitar Valve Amplifier Combo *1950s*

A true collector's piece, this is an original Vox AC10 Number 3 "TV Front" combo dating from late 1960. I purchased this amplifier from its long-term owner, who had owned it for many decades. During that time, as was a fairly common practice, he painted the cabinet blue over the original diamond-pattern tolex. The paint could be removed if desired, but I've chosen to leave it exactly as I found it, as it's part of the amplifier's history and character. This is a genuine late-1960 AC10 Number 3, identified by its distinctive TV front cabinet, diamond grille cloth, sliding chassis, and factory-integrated vibrato circuit. These early AC10 variants are exceptionally scarce, and in all my years of dealing with vintage amplifiers, I have never had another example like this. 

The amplifier has recently been professionally serviced by one of the UK's leading vintage amp technicians and is now ready to play. The transformers are all original to the amplifier, and the majority of the valves are original as well. My tech had to remove the redundant voltage selector and added a fuse in the place, which could be reversed if necessary, but this makes more sense for safety as it is. The speaker is an interesting feature: it dates from around 1957 and has its own transformer mounted to the speaker frame. That transformer has been disconnected, allowing the speaker to function normally, but I do not believe the speaker itself is original to the amplifier. Overall, this is a superb player-grade example of an exceptionally rare Vox. It's priced accordingly to offer outstanding value for such a scarce amplifier, making it an excellent opportunity for both players and collectors.
