Here's The Run Down:
This 1965 Gibson L-50 Acoustic Archtop Guitar is a true survivor and plays/sounds amazing! This is one of the later years that we've had and you really dont see these much after 1962. This guitar is in great condition as pictured, so be sure to view them all (more available upon request). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). The finish on this guitar has been professionally black lighted and has not been repaired, refinished or over sprayed in any way. This guitar does not need a reset and plays perfectly as it sits with plenty of room left on the bridge for adjustment both ways. The neck is straight without issue, frets are in great shape and has great action with 3/32" of string height at the body. There is quite a bit of finish checking, but mostly around the sides. There are no cracks. Flaws will consist of finish checking, dings, chips, scratches, marks and/or flaws here and there as pictured, but still totally respectable for a guitar that's almost 60+ year old instrument. The Original Kluson Double Line Tuning Pegs operate perfectly without issue. There will be discoloration of all metal hardware as you would expect.
This Gibson L-50 plays awesome! Although I think its set up perfectly, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is below 3/32" at the body with a straight neck, working truss rod and bridge that still has plenty of adjustment available both ways. It plays great from the nut to the body. Freshly and professionally set up and ready to play!
The included hard case is most likely not the original, but is vintage and fits the guitar perfectly. No issues to speak of other than normal signs of age and use.
