The PRS SE Chleo is the result of a collaboration between PRS Guitars and award-winning guitarist Herman Li. Li, best known for his work as one of the lead guitarists of the Power Metal band DragonForce, is a discerning guitarist renowned for his fast and precise playing style. Based on the exclusive PRS Chleo Limited Edition of 2025, this signature SE model is a unique guitar within the PRS lineup, designed with the modern Metal guitarist in mind.
The PRS SE Chleo features a maple top and a mahogany body, with a maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. The body is characterized by an ergonomic design that allows for a very thin profile and an overall lightweight, enabling longer playing sessions with greater energy. The neck shape and neck joint have been designed to ensure comfort and speed.
The neck is very slim and is paired with a 20" radius fingerboard, while high-modulus carbon fiber reinforcements ensure a robust neck. The fingerboard showcases "Eclipse Dragon" style inlays, and PRS's signature scoop has also been modified for optimal access to the upper frets. All of this, combined with a Floyd Rose Locking tremolo, means you can play energetically without compromise.
The PRS SE Chleo boasts the same signature pickups as the Limited Edition that preceded it. The Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li pickups feature copper-free stacked PCBs for noise-free consistency and sound. With three distinct voicings and a versatile switching system, the guitar offers up to 13 unique tonal combinations. From crunchy and aggressive tones to smooth and warm leads, these pickups cover every need. The control layout, designed for performance, makes it easy to switch from one sound to another on the fly.
