- Hard to find one of these actually IN THE FLESH where you can hear it first and don’t have to pay $509 for a guess at a stock photo.
- But never chez hazelshould. Listen to your heart’s content!
- Immaculate condition Massive Zildjian 22” SWISH KNOCKER with ALL 20 ZILDJIAN RIVETS for maximum KNOCKING! Perfect.
-
Zildjian describes this Swish Knocker as:
“Add a smooth and sweet knock to your sound with the 22" A Zildjian Swish Knocker. It features 20 rivets for a great sizzle effect and great stick definition for funky ride beat with roaring overtones. Unique stick definition for funky ride beat with roaring overtones and sizzle effect."
- There you have it!!
-
Weighing in at a lovely 2576 grams, this HUGE Top of the Line Zildjian Swish Knocker plays like a MASSIVE China Swish and provides the perfect larger than life 22" exotic GONG-like China ROAR!
-
The attack is cutting when need be and the wash has the unique sizzle of a rainstorm.
- This particular 22” has a great semi-dry stick definition with a nice combination of lightness and traditional warmth.
- As a ride, this Swish Knocker has a great CONTROLLED stick attack (for “knocking”) and is responsive at lower volume levels.
- This 22” makes a terrific china, effect cymbal, or alternate ride a la Mel Lewis or J.R. Robinson.
-
Comes to life with the lightest stick glance - complements of all those rivets, but also can roar when laid in to! This particular 22” has a wide dynamic range that has no problem cutting a mix!
- Immaculate shape and not $509 for a guess! You can hear it so you can buy with confidence.
