Here for sale we have a G&L Fullerton Standard Legacy in Ruby Red Metallic. Made in the USA this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of an Alder body, Hard Rock neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a DF Vibrato bridge and G&L Standard tuning machines. A trio of G&L CLF-100 Alnico 5 single coils with the middle pickup being reverse wound. These are wired a 5-way pickup selector, master volume and Bass and Treble tone controls.

The Satin finish Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern Classic profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and lending itself well to a wide variety of styles. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 9.5” radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bends. The Medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato and string bending techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience.

 The trio of G&L pickups installed in this guitar deliver classic single coil tones. The G&L CLF-100 Alnico V Single-Coil neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The G&L CLF-100 Alnico V Single-Coil rev-wound in the middle position is bright and clear, and is well suited to funky rhythm sounds. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The rear face edge demonstrates light scuffing to the finish at the treble side of the very tip. The bass and treble side of the cutaway demonstrate light discolouration that could not be removed during our celaning process, most likely from a stand headstock rest.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most notably to the centre lower bout of the front face, in line with the input jack, with smaller scratches apparent at the treble side waist. The rear face demonstrates light indentations, only visible under direct light and at certain angles, most notably to the bass side lower bout, near where the forearm rests, where the finish has been marked but not removed. Light scuffing is apparent to the treble side edge of the lower bout rear face.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Concentrated light scratching is apparent to the pickguard and back plate. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the tuners, bridge and input jack plate.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
