When I first pulled this out of the case I was amazed at how easy it was to play. Made famous by Ty Tabor, the Elite strat made in the 80’s is very different from a typical strat. Active pickups which are true single coils with individual push button selectors and a dummy coil to reduce (some) of the noise. This one is original, except when I bought it was missing the locking nut, so I added Hipshot locking tuners. There is also no tremolo arm with this one. It plays very easy maybe partly due to the top loaded style bridge, a very unique German design. omit has a smaller C shaped profile neck that is very comfortable to play.

There are only a few scrapes, the deepest of which you can see in the photos. The neck one is the deepest but didn’t interfere with my playing. in great condition for a 40 year old guitar. It comes with a flight case style Fender case, and the original tuners, as well as a pickguard that I had custom ordered to try a different set of pickups. Standard pickguards will not fit this design, but that gives you options. I didn’t like the sound as well as stock so I put the original pickguard and pickups back in.

An amazing guitar that I’m just not using enough, so hopefully it makes it way to a new owner.
