The Gibson Hummingbird is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever produced, and this preowned 1974 Hummingbird in a beautiful Custom Sunburst finish is a remarkable example of Gibson’s legendary craftsmanship. Known for its distinctive square-shoulder dreadnought body, ornate pickguard, and rich tonal character, the Hummingbird has been a favorite among professional musicians and collectors for generations.

Featuring a solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, this vintage Gibson delivers warm lows, articulate mids, and clear, ringing highs with impressive projection. Decades of natural aging have helped this instrument develop the mature, resonant voice that vintage acoustic enthusiasts seek.

This 1974 Hummingbird retains its classic vintage appeal and includes the original Gibson hard case for protection and collectability. The guitar has been inspected for functionality and playability and may exhibit cosmetic wear consistent with its age, adding to its character and authenticity.

“Good” condition, certainly signs of general wear and checking from age, but still fully playable and functionable.
