Overview

The Double Helix Solo is K&K’s first hum-cancelling, dual-coil magnetic soundhole pickup. It delivers a rich, feedback-resistant amplified tone without batteries or onboard electronics. Two switches provide phase-invert capability and a two-position tone switch—“Gloss” for bright, acoustic sparkle and “Steam” for a fuller, louder sound—making it ideal on its own or paired with the Pure Pickup™ Mini.

Installation Notes

1. Clamp-Mount: Position the bracket inside the soundhole and tighten until snug—no drilling required.

2. Endpin Adapter: Insert the supplied endpin jack into your guitar’s output hole; plug the pickup cable into it.

3. Switch Settings: Use the phase switch to match other pickups; toggle Gloss/Steam to select your tonal character.
