For sale is my 2009 Gibson Custom ES-335 Dot Figured in the beautiful Light Burst finish. This guitar was built in Gibson's Memphis facility during the period when the ES line was produced under the Gibson Custom division and includes the original Gibson Custom Certificate of Authenticity and original Gibson hardshell case.

I've owned this guitar for many years, and it has been carefully maintained in a smoke-free home. It has never been gigged extensively or abused and remains in excellent overall condition.

This is a wonderful example of Gibson's Memphis-era craftsmanship. The figured maple top has a tasteful flame that becomes more pronounced as the light changes, and the Light Burst finish gives it a classic vintage appearance. It delivers everything you'd expect from a great ES-335—warm, articulate cleans, rich midrange, and exceptional sustain with enough bite for blues, classic rock, jazz, and beyond.

The neck is comfortable, the frets have plenty of life remaining, and the guitar plays effortlessly all the way up the neck.

Condition

Overall, I would rate this guitar as Excellent.

There are no cracks, breaks, structural repairs, or headstock repairs.

The only notable cosmetic issue is a small blemish in the clear coat on the back of the guitar. The blemish does not go through the finish into the color coat or the wood and is purely cosmetic. A close-up photograph has been included for complete transparency.

Aside from that minor blemish, the guitar shows only light signs of careful ownership consistent with a well-maintained instrument.
