1966 Gibson SG Special-Standard conversion---Cherry with Vibrola--Super Cool SG with Rare Factory Stinger headstock--Serial number reads #001727 and Original Pots read 137/6626 June 27th to July 3rd 1966 --Guitar has been played over the last 60 years and now has a very nice natural relic --used but not abused, just honest play wear--A 1970's very popular modification for a lot of Gibson's--- installing the DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups to help drive your amplifier. These DiMarzio's are old Rare and expensive dating to 1975-1976 with the Braided single conductor and the square base feet--Ace Frehley and countless others swore by this pairing. . The Bridge reads a hot 13.26k output and the neck a solid 12.96k --They sound great paired with the Mahogany body---Frets are still good but do some wear and to me playability is fine - not a Gibson fretless wonder--The Tuners were replaced with new Vintage style Tulip Locking Grovers so if you can actually use the Vibrola with a bit more confidence.. Comes with a Gibson hardcase that should be from 60's to mid 70's--not 100% sure it's the original case but the one I got with it from my purchase many years ago....
