Offered for sale is my Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster, Masterbuilt by legendary Fender Master Builder John Cruz.
John Cruz is widely recognized as one of the most respected Master Builders in Fender Custom Shop history. His instruments are known for exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding playability, making them highly sought after by both collectors and professional musicians.
Built to Eric Clapton's signature specifications, this guitar features an alder body, maple neck with Clapton's comfortable Soft "V" profile, maple fingerboard, Vintage Noiseless™ pickups, the TBX tone circuit, and Fender's active 25 dB mid-boost system. Together, these features provide everything from classic Stratocaster sparkle to warm, powerful lead tones with remarkable versatility.
This instrument was originally featured by Wildwood Guitars, one of the country's premier Fender Custom Shop dealers. Wildwood documented the build and produced professional demonstration videos, allowing prospective buyers to see and hear this model as it was originally presented. I have included the original Wildwood video link in this listing so prospective buyers can watch the professional demonstration of this very instrument, hear its tone, and see a detailed overview of its specifications before purchasing.
The guitar has been adult-owned, carefully maintained, and remains in excellent condition. It has been stored in a premium climate-controlled glass display case with integrated humidification and dehumidification, maintaining consistent temperature and humidity levels year-round. This instrument has received the level of care expected of a collectible Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitar and is equally suited for a discerning collector or a professional player.
Included with the guitar are:
- Original Fender Custom Shop vintage-style tweed hardshell case
- Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
- Original Shop Floor Traveler
- Original case candy and accessories
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests for additional photos. I want every prospective buyer to feel completely confident in the instrument before making a purchase.
