Yes, occasionally we come upon a set up like this with no flaws whatsoever. The EQ has been fully tested and deemed AOK, as are all electronic items we touch. The stands are beautiful as are the cabinets including the awesome fabric accent. Here is what makes these early series Bose 901's so special. Bose used what is known as a pretreated open weave tweed driver surround in the Continentals and Series I and Series II. They do not suffer from the same problems that the Series III's and on do. At the production of those Bose went to a rubber surround and now after 50 years they eventually experience dry rot. Its important when buying those models that you thoroughly check them for that. It's costly and time consuming to refoam 18 speakers and get them rewired correctly. Check our reviews for peace of mind.
