The Gold Tone AC-5 is the lightest resonator banjo we carry from Gold Tone. At 5.5 lbs it delivers full bluegrass volume and projection from a composite rim and resonator, the same weight as an open-back banjo. Strong, resonant, and impervious to humidity changes that affect wooden instruments. An excellent first bluegrass banjo or travel instrument.

Gold Tone sets up every AC-5 at their factory in Titusville, Florida.
