Here is my trusted and cherished Fender Telecaster Elite Left Handed from 1983.This has seen mostly recording studio action, rather than on the frontline of gigging, so it is still in excellent condition, although it does have few small dings commensurate with age that are hard to photograph. Hopefully you see them in the photos - the largest on the top edge is around 3mm long x 2.5mm wide. It still looks, plays and sounds fabulous! Reason for sale is i am retired and very rarely play guitar now.

This one is in it's original black colour over an alder body with a nicely aged top binding, maple neck / board with stripe and lacquer that still feels smooth. Frets are still really good and the fretboard is smooth. It has a top loading heavy cast Freeflyte bridge, two dual coil Alnico 2 noise-cancelling pickups, a 3-way toggle selector switch with onboard active preamp (9v battery powered), 2 volume pots with Fender's MDX (mid range expander) boost and TBX (treble/bass expander) controls. The pickups and the MDX/TBX allow a wide range of tones and sounds from Fat Humbucker to gnarly, smooth or vintage single coil. It does the whole Tele to Strat to Les Paul dance! Control knobs are the originals with easy grip rubber inserts. These Elite Teles have a Bi-Flex truss rod, jumbo frets and a 12" radius fretboard - so comfortable and easy to play and great for rhythm or lead. Also included in the sale is the original ABS hard shell case that has a few stickers on it and a bit of rust on the chrome but still works as it should and is still more than capable of looking after it's contents.
