This is a tweed Deluxe with a fixed bias. Fender would have likely built this if the 50s had gone on a little longer. The circuit comes from the Tremolux which orignally had a 5E3 Deluxe circuit plus tremolo then was redesigned in '57 with a fixed bias and a different phase inverter usually seen in bigger amps such as the Bassman. Built in a 5E3 chassis it has two channels each with high and low inputs and a shared interactive tone control. This amp is made with the best parts possible. It has a vintage new old stock power transformer with iron from the same era as the cicuit. The output transformer is a replica by Soursound. Vintage parts throughout including carbon composition resistors, signal caps, and even some of the hardware. The new electrolytic capacitors are top shelf. This amp stays cleaner a little longer up the dial than a 5E3. The board is handmade and non-conductive so your guitar volume knob won't go scratch scratch. It has a lush clean sound with tight bottom. Pretend transitional cream chicken-head knobs included.
